I rarely post videos or clips of TV shows, but my friend, Bertha, posted this segment on Facebook and I was so entertained by it! The man being interviewed is fully American, from Pennsylvania, named Jeff Stoffa. He says that he got to know a Cuban family when he was living in Pennsylvania and basically adopted the Cuban culture as his own. It is as if he were born Cuban. Everything from the way he speaks, the way he moves his hands when he talks, the inflection of his voice, his ability to recall things about old Cuba and the way he recites the ending of famous quotes and sayings is uncanny. He also reminds me of my brother, Eric, a bit. I really enjoyed this segment so much. No doubt he has won the hearts of Cubans in Miami and beyond.
I wonder if he’s heard the joke by Alvarez Guedes called “Un Cubano en Pennsylvania“? I am sure he can relate ;)
P.S. I have no clue why Spanish TV always has women dancing around in bikinis for everything!
